Marketing manager

Spatia Comporta is seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and easy-going Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is critical in shaping our brand’s presence, both locally and internationally. As Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Sales team to execute the annual marketing plan, ensuring all activities align with Spatia Comporta's strategic priorities and revenue goals. We are looking for someone who is willing to be on-site when needed, actively engaging with teams and contributing to the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of marketing content, including copywriting, photo, and video shoots, ensuring that all materials adhere to Spatia’s brand guidelines and reinforce our unique positioning.
Collaborate with the Sales team to design and implement marketing activities aimed at specific market segments, including group, leisure, and local guests.
Oversee the creation of marketing collateral and promotional campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Act as a Brand Champion, ensuring the brand experience is consistently represented across all guest touchpoints.
Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to drive the local positioning of the outlets through targeted marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns aimed at engaging both locals and in-house guests.
Develop strategies for events and promotions to enhance guest experiences and drive foot traffic to our F&B outlets.
Manage the social media strategy in collaboration with the Digital Field Marketing team, with a focus on enhancing online reputation and engaging with guests through dynamic digital content.
Ensure that Spatia Comporta is effectively represented on all digital platforms, maintaining up-to-date content on the website and other online channels.
Assist in forging local partnerships and identifying opportunities for promotions, sponsorships, and community engagement to enhance the property’s visibility and reputation.
Work with local and national PR teams to coordinate press visits, interviews, photo shoots, and other events aimed at gaining media coverage.
Manage the design and production of marketing collateral, ensuring all materials are on-brand and locally relevant.
Ensure all printed and electronic materials across the property align with Spatia's brand standards and deliver a consistent guest experience.
Collaborate with the Sales team to drive revenue through innovative marketing strategies, including package development, digital marketing channels, and post-stay communications.
Take a proactive approach to supporting the hotel’s operations by contributing to a strong guest experience, particularly during events or major promotions.
Qualifications:
Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
Strong skills in communication, event management, and brand strategy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Apple iWorks, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Willingness to be hands-on, on-site when required, and actively contribute to the guest experience.
Bachelor's degree.
